[/frame_left]At THQ Digital Studios Phoenix we held a food drive for St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance. I was asked to create a poster and interactive display that would show the amount of food collected. Initially I was planning to use a thermometer to display how much food was collected but living in Phoenix we don’t typically think of the thermometer except for in the summer and since this was a winter food drive I had to come up with something different. I decided to use a scale and that way we could display the amount off food collected with cans that could be added to the scale. The display was setup in the entry way of the studio and stood about 6 feet tall. Our goal for the food drive was 500 lbs and we crushed the goal and collected 750 lbs.
All work was completed in Illustrator.
