If you use a Wacom on Windows 7 then you have probably been battling the windows table settings. The battle includes a circular mouse cursor when you click the pen to the tablet and in Photoshop not behaving correctly (ie: right click not working, sensitivity not behaving as expected, etc…).
After searching online trying to find the awnser I could only find partial fixes which did not remove the problem all together. So yesterday after trying to fix a router issue (another tip coming soon), I found in the system settings a way to turn off the Tablet PC Input Service.
So here we go…
First go to your start menu and ‘right click’ on Computer and select Manage….
You should now see a Computer Management window
In the middle window ‘double click’ on Services and Application
Now ‘double click’ on Services
This brings up a long list of services
Scroll down to Table PC Input and ‘double click’
In the General tab => Startup Type: Drop Down menu to ‘Disable’
Ta Da… Magic
PS: If you are still having problem or the tablet settings come back you can find more suggestions here.
