In my mind GDC has always seemed inconvenient because it was too far away (I know it is further for many) and/or other things were going on. This year was a little different because I been doing freelance and looking for full time employment. Too say the least I was a little more motivated to gather some funds and head off to GDC with a stack of resumes and a smile.
For the past few months I have been using TexTools and really enjoy the improvements they add to Max’s default UV tools. I highly recommend them so read more and install them.
If you use a Wacom on Windows 7 then you have probably been battling the windows table settings. The battle includes a circular mouse cursor when you click the pen to the tablet and in Photoshop not behaving correctly (ie: right click not working, sensitivity not behaving as expected, etc…).

In CS4 I have been using the default doc window feature which keeps things organized. However, I also find that it to be frustrating because I often want to move a layer from one PS file to another but it was not that easy… or was it?
